We're bringing Shakespeare back to the Wolds!

Following last year's successful event, we're pleased to share the news that we're bringing live theatre back to the Yorkshire Wolds with an alternative take on Shakespeare. Touring company 440 Theatre will revisit the brewery on 12th July to deliver a performance of Shakespeare with a difference. If you haven't tried our latest barrel-aged beer yet, you're in for a treat! Rip Curl, alc 8.5% vol, has been created by ageing Marmalade Porter in whisky casks for 15 months. It is a deliciously smooth beer with complex fruity flavours from the dark, roasted, chocolate, and coffee flavours of the beer combined with the light, fruity, vanilla notes of Filey Bay. Rip Curl is the fourth in our Ebb & Flow series of beers, a collaboration between sister company Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery and us. Directors' Diary - Brew 4000

Here's the latest Directors' Diary from the newsletter. It seems to have flown by but we’ve reached a great milestone in the brewery these last weeks - our 4000th brew! Each batch of beer we produce is given a batch number (often referred to as a gyle number in the brewing industry) which is used to trace, track and monitor the beer as it passes through the brewhouse and out to trade.
