We're sponsoring Brid Half again

We're pleased to be supporting Brid Half for a second time by providing bespoke medals for finishers of this year’s race on 3rd October and giving packs of beer as spot prizes for runners on the course.
Martin McPheat from organiser, Bridlington Road Runners said: “We’re incredibly grateful to have Wold Top’s support for another year. We were disappointed to have to cancel last year’s race, so are really looking forward to this event.
“‘Brid Half’, as it is affectionately known, was first held in 1983 and still attracts a large field of 700 runners from far and wide. This year’s field includes entrants from Leeds, Ely, Thirsk and Holmfirth. Fingers crossed for good weather!”
The 13.1 mile course starts on the sea-front then heads off out into the countryside via Sewerby, Flamborough and Bempton before returning to Bridlington. One more loop out to Sewerby, passing through Sewerby Hall grounds, before returning to Bridlington and the iconic sea-front finish.
The race costs £25 to enter and entry is online. Closing date for entries is 27th September.
