Brewery mixes with the stars at inaugural food festival

Wold Top Brewery will be mixing with the stars at an inaugural food festival next week.
Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery is one of several Yorkshire businesses that have been invited to take part in the first?Hull Truck Theatre Food Festival that will feature cookery demonstrations by Yorkshire celebrity chef,?James Martin.
The festival, designed to showcase the best of local produce, will feature demonstrations from James and Radio Humberside?s resident celebrity chef Nigel Brown and will be supported by host of local suppliers including Elliott Eggs, the White Rabbit Chocolate Company and Gold from the Wold cold pressed rapeseed oil.
Brewery owner Tom Mellor is delighted to be involved; ?It?s a great arena to showcase local food and having James Martin should be a real draw.? He?s a local guy who champions Yorkshire produce whenever he can.?
Wold Top Brewery donated the beer for prize draws during the performances of the bittersweet comedy?Me and Me Dad that finished on 20th February.
The festival takes place between 12 and 6pm on Sunday 7th March at Hull Truck Theatre on Ferensway.? Tickets for the cookery demonstration cost ?20 but entry to the food festival is free.? For more information, contact the box office on 01482 323638.
