Meet bestselling authors at Scarborough’s TENTH book festival this June.
Headlined by broadcaster Stuart Maconie, former Home Secretary Alan Johnson and Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen, there’s something for everyone. Killing Eve author Luke Jennings opens Saturday’s events, followed by an exploration into the real world of Bridgerton with regency expert Catherine Curzon. Top fiction authors Jenny Colgan, Rachel Joyce and Linda Green will be joining the lineup alongside conservationist Ben Jacob. Acclaimed journalist Madeleine Bunting explores England’s great seaside resorts - her new book opens in Scarborough- and Rev Fergus Butler-Gallie shares his wickedly entertaining memoir of a young priest.
PLUS there is a bonus event ahead of the main festival on Friday 9 June 7pm with popular BBC broadcaster and art historian James Fox.
