The team at the brewery are celebrating after hearing the news that we've reached the final of a regional award that champions family businesses. We have been shortlisted in the Food and Drink Producers category of the Yorkshire and Humberside Family Business Awards 2022. Delighted director and fourth-generation family member, Kate said: “Yorkshire is home to some amazing family food and drink businesses so we’re very proud to be included in the final four. Scarborough Fair's reached the final of the dy Taste Awards

The team here at Wold Top are celebrating after learning that Scarborough Fair has been shortlisted in the deliciouslyorkshire (dy for short) Taste Awards. Our top-selling English style IPA has reached the final in the Best Beer or Cider category in what is referred to as the largest and most respected food and drink awards programme in the region. As the 2022 barley harvest is now safely gathered in, we thought it might be nice to share a bit about what will happen to it next. As it goes through the malting process so it can become beer! Firstly let’s look at the actual grain, pictured. It’s divided into three parts: Embryo/Germ which will eventually grow into the roots and shoots of the new plants. We're hosting our first Oktoberfest event

We're excited to announce that the inaugural Oktoberfest will take place at Wold Top on 1st October and guests can expect a specially brewed Oktoberfest beer, German food with a Yorkshire twist and an Oompah Band.
