Look out for our latest limited edition cask ale, Ursa Minor
Posted by Wold Top Brewery on
The third of our limited edition Constellation Series beers goes on sale in selected pubs throughout Yorkshire this month.
Ursa Minor, 4.0% ABV, is inspired by American brewing traditions and is brewed using two of the USA’s most popular hops, Cascade and Centennial with Pale Ale, Crystal 150 and Wheat Malts.
Brewery Manager, Alex Balchin said it’s an interesting beer with a bitterness that accompanies floral aromas.
“American beers, known for their hoppy flavours, have inspired our newest beer and we’re looking forward to hearing what people think about it.
“The Cascade hops produce floral and citrus tones whilst the classic American hop Centennial complements it with a moderate bitterness.”
Ursa Minor means ‘little bear’ in Latin, is named after the northern sky constellation with Polaris, the North Star, at the tip.
The following pubs will take delivery of Ursa Minor this week, w/c 5th March:
New Inn, Cliffe, Selby; Larkins, Hull; Centurion Arms, Brough; Dacre Arms, Brandesburton; Stumble Inn, Scarborough; Chestnut Horse, Kelk and Jolly Farmers, Leavening.
