As Yorkshire Day approaches (1st August), two East Yorkhire farm diversification businesses are celebrating after winning prestigious national awards from the?Guild of Fine Food (30-07-08).? Award-winning Wold Top Brewery will be one of a number of local producers at the 150th anniversary of the Great Yorkshire Show this month. The North?s leading agricultural event takes place at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate from 8th to 10th July and attracts over 135,000 visitors . Members of the Great Northern Section of the Institute of Brewing and Distilling (IBD) have been invited to a Barley Walk, Brewery Visit and Barbecue at Wold Top Brewery. The 3rd July meeting will begin with a barley walk and talk led by Tom Mellor followed by tours of the award winning micro brewery.?
