Chelsea garden returns to Yorkshire roots

Part of the award winning Welcome to Yorkshire Chelsea Flower Show garden has been relocated at the Wold Newton brewery that helped to inspire the garden design. The Brewers Yard garden was designed to celebrate Yorkshire’s famous beer industry and wealth of microbreweries and included a unique water feature comprised of a traditional Yorkshire Square brewing vessel. It is this brewing vessel that has been carefully recycled and installed in the NGS Garden at Wold Top Brewery, who co-sponsored the Bestall & Co designed garden with Welcome to Yorkshire. Directors and staff at Wold Top Brewery are celebrating after the Wold Newton business’s export achievements has earned them a place in the final of the Hull Daily Mail Business Awards. The farm based brewery faces stiff competition from fellow Driffield business, Blue Keld in the final of the Exporter of the Year award that is sponsored by Associated British Ports. Yorkshire Coast brewery celebrates double shortlist success

Directors and staff at Wold Top Brewery are celebrating after the Wold Newton business has reached the final of two Yorkshire awards. The farm based brewery is one of three finalists in the Companies under £10m turnover category in the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business awards and also has two of its beers in the final of the deliciouslyorkshire Taste awards.
